Dealing With Upper Right Back Pain


If you suffer from back pain that occurs below your neck and above your lower back, then you know how uncomfortable that can be.  Upper right back pain occurs primarily where your ribs attach to your spinal column.  Pain in this area results when there is some type of damage or injury to the ligaments attached to the vertebrae along the spinal column.  If you are an active person, you likely will strain these ligaments at some point and experience some level of pain.  Even inactive people can stretch these ligaments to the point where they become painful.

The main thing that you want to remember is to avoid any type of injury or trauma to your back.  This is the primary cause of upper right back pain and eliminating it will decrease your chances of having to deal with back discomfort.  Always remember to do some type of stretching before starting your daily exercise routine.  Eat healthy to maintain the proper weight for your body size.  Avoid any activity that puts extra strain on your back muscles and ligaments.  Maintain proper posture at all times and wear protective braces if necessary.
